Our Story

Lydia. (London) is a fun illustration-led lifestyle gift & stationery brand by artist Lydia Evans. A world of ethereal and whimsical characters with a twist of the surreal. Snorkelling cats and fabulous fish with lipsticked-lips and ribbon-like legs... Dashing dogs, Ocean marine life, Flower of the catwalk, and a splash into swimming wild and free – all drawn to make you smile!

Lydia. (London) was launched at the end of 2019 by the artist and photographer Lydia Evans. Whilst revisiting her college sketch books from the early 1990's to create a Christmas card for friends Lydia fell in love again with drawing. Inspired by the imaginary worlds and characters in her childhood books, blended with Lydia's distinct fluid, loose, dancing line. The 'Fishy Tales' cheeky cat was actually first drawn by Lydia in 1990 whilst still at Central St Martin's, UAL, staying hidden within her workbook for 29 years!
